A Denka Lift model is lifted by crane over the city. Service One Access will begin supplying Rothlehner’s new Denka Lift DL28N model to the US and Canada later this year.

Service One Access has been appointed as the official US dealer of the Denka Lift brand, manufactured by Germany-based equipment Rothlehner Arbeitsbuehnen.

Service One, which was founded in 1984 and specialises in narrow specialised aerial platforms, will provide sales, rental and machine servicing.

The dealer has supplied the manufacturer’s Denka-Narrow atrium lifts and DL25 and DL30 trailers for many years. The new partnership will see Rothlehner’s new DL28N, which is currently in production in Germany, added to Service One’s product range later this year.

Tom Trinen, the founder of the Chicago-based Service One Access and a former member of the ANSI Committee, said “Denka Lifts have been an important pillar in our company’s product range since the 1980s. As an authorized sales and service partner of Denka, we will benefit from direct contact with those responsible at Rothlehner and their technical support.

“The devices produced in Germany have been technically further developed and comply with the current ANSI standard.”

Rothlehner, which bought the rights to the Denka truck and trailer mount products in 2013, described Chicago-based Service One as a reliable partner that commits to long-term and high quality collaborations.

Manfred Rothlehner, CEO of Rothlehner Arbeitsbuehnen, said, “The fact that Service One has always owned the domain www.denkalift.com shows the company’s dedication to the Denka-Lift brand. Tom Trinen focuses on long-term customer relationship and brings a lot of experience with the devices. Of course, that goes well with our philosophy.

“By working with his team, we expect further projects in the USA and Canada. For the existing equipment inventory in North America, Service One can offer qualified service and, thanks to a large inventory, also supply spare parts promptly.“

The arrangement with Texas-based distributor ReachMaster, which also represented Rothlehner's products in the US, has come to an end following the annoucement that ReachMaster's parent company Ruthmann had been acquired by Time Manufacturing.
